Diploma and Certificate and Foundation courses
The Academy runs a three year intensive practice-based fine art Diploma programme encompassing both sculpture and painting. Both traditional figurative skills and creative practice are taught.
The Certificate programme is ideal for people who are serious about developing their artistic talent, but have a limited amount of time to devote to it. The programme runs one day a week for two years and includes a comprehensive course of study in each area.
Both Diploma and Certificate include skills development, creative exploration and personal guidance which culminate in a final show to help develop and finish the work to exhibition quality.
The one year Fine Art Foundation covers a wide range of disciplines and is both an ideal preparation for further study and an introduction to many aspects of life as a professional artist.
