Caroline Osborne

Subject Co-ordinator and Tutor for Art History and Contextual Studies on the Fine Art Diploma at the Art Academy

Caroline Osborne was born in 1956 and gained a BA in Art History in 1978, an MA in 1983 and a PGCE in 1984. Since then she has taught in a range of London H.E. and F.E. colleges from Camberwell to Sixth Forms. She specialises in the history of western art especially in Italy, and in women’s work in the twentieth century. She believes in the importance of studying works of art at first hand and has travelled widely in India, and Latin America.
