The Friday Mix

Art Academy evening classes have always been an opportunity to mix and mingle as well as learn, but our Friday Mix is an ideal way to explore a variety of artistic techniques and socialize at the same time…and because it’s Friday, a glass of wine or a beer and some chilled-out music will help everyone unwind. Over the 8 weeks, we’ll work through various types of drawing, painting and sculpture, making it a great ‘taster’ course. Some weeks there will be life models, but as doing portraits of one another is an excellent way to learn and mix, we'll be doing that too. We’ll leave the last week open so that you can decide amongst yourselves how you would like to end the course.
