Materials

Please note materials are not provided for courses, except where specified within the course outline. However we do sell some materials including Acrylic or Oil Painting Packs and Drawing packs. These packs should be purchased in advance so that they can be ordered and prepared in time for your course

All three packs offer good quality and value for money. Please note the 15% student discount does not apply to the materials packs.

Packs that are pre-booked in advance will be ready to collect before the start of your first class.

Both Painting Packs contain:
1 tear-off palette (9” x 12”). 1 palette knife. Two 6″ x 8″ canvas boards, and three 10″ x 14″ canvas boards. (The only exception is the pack for the Advanced Painting from Life course, which contains two 20" x 16" boards in place of these)

Painting Pack - Oil
A mixed set of natural and synthetic paintbrushes, suitable for the oil painting techniques covered in our classes. Six 75ml tubes of Georgian Oil colour paints - Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, French Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Burnt Umber, Titanium White

Painting Pack - Acrylic
A set of 10 synthetic fibre acrylic paintbrushes (round sizes 2,6, 10, 14, 18 and square sizes 2, 6, 10, 14, 18)
Daler Rowney System 3 acrylic selection set, containing a range of 8 x 75ml tubes of key colours: black, white, cadmium red hue, ultramarine, emerald, yellow ochre, burnt umber, cadmium yellow hue.

Drawing Pack
The drawing pack contains a set of 3 lead pencils (Faber Castell 900, 2B/4B/6B), a box of medium charcoal sticks - 12pr/box, compressed charcoal set of black, Winsor & Newton putty rubber – large, Lyra combination eraser and a small auto lock knife.
