Art Academy Print

Open Access

Art Academy Print offers experienced printmakers access to a fully equipped studio on Tuesday evenings and Saturday daytimes every week (starting January 31st). On your first session you will be introduced to all of the equipment needed for your particular project, given a full health and safety briefing, and will have a chance to speak to one of our keyholders, who will always be on hand, who can offer support, advice and help with your work as required.

Open Access costs £20 per four-hour period and four places are available for each session.

Open Access times:
Tuesday: 6pm – 10pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm
Saturday: 2pm - 6pm

Who can book Open Access sessions?
New attendees must provide evidence of the competence in printmaking and good studio practice, or have completed an Art Academy Print 'Taster' and 'Etching/Relief' course.

Booking onto Open Access is easy with our online booking system hosted by Eventbrite. When booking a session it is helpful to send your contact details and a brief outline of work planned during your session - just click on the 'Contact Host' link on the Eventbrite page to send us an e mail. Online bookings are non-refundable, however last minute places can be reserved on the day by calling Art Academy directly on 020 7407 6969.

Diploma and Certificate courses
The Academy runs a three year intensive practice based fine art Diploma course, focusing on sculpture and painting and covering both traditional figurative skills and creative practice.
The Certificate courses are ideal for people who are serious about developing their artistic talent, but have a limited
amount of time to give to it. The courses run one day a week for two years and include a very comprehensive
programme of study in each area.
The courses include skill development, creative exploration within the subject, and personal guidance, and all culminate in a final show to help develop and finish the work.
