Patricia Barker

Patricia is a figurative sculptor based in London. She has been teaching sculpture since 1991.

“When working from life, in clay or wax, I am concerned with exploring the complexity and subtlety of the human and animal form. My aim is to be as true to the form as possible and to imbue it with feeling. More recently I have been working in stone and I find it allows me the freedom to interpret the forms and to decide on the degree of detail.”
