Words form the inspiration behind my work, endeavouring to let them communicate through the medium I choose. Collage suits my working process – slowly you build up a canvas, fabric initially then paper, which can then be written, painted and stitched; the thrill of charging your brush with ink - a moment where time stands still and you present yourself, tool in hand to the piece. And then you write the words, the forms of the letters but also a thousand indescribable emotions at the tip of the brush merging into space.

Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, I have been working from my studio in London. I have exhibited in galleries throughout the UK and USA and also work to commission.
