Painting For All

Full course information and booking at foot of page

An exciting and well structured course for those with all levels of painting experience, who wish to learn how to use paint and a variety of painting techniques at the same time as stimulating their creative expression.
The course explores the use of colour, line, tone, composition and the application of painting mediums, and also develops creative expression. There will be sessions with a life model, work from still life, and some more loosely structured creative painting, with simple but effective exercises using music, composition and collage being used to free up and explore the means of expression. The course then uses all the tools that have been developed and culminates in each person developing an artwork of their own, using whatever material or technique they feel most comfortable with.
