Stone Carving

This course gives students an opportunity to work with hugely experienced tutor Simon Keeley. Simon was awarded the Craft & Design Magazine Gold Award for Specialist Media in 2010.

It is an adaptable course suited to all levels of experience. Beginners can get their first taste of 3D stone carving, learn the basic fundamental principles of carving and gain some experience of tool usage as well as an understanding of the behaviour of stone and some basic carving techniques. Those with more experience can pursue individual projects under Simon's expert guidance.
