Terms and conditions

(Team Development)

Payment terms: We accept the following methods of payment for our events: invoice payments by company cheque, electronic transfer, or cash. All invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date, after which point we reserve the right to charge interest at 1.5% per month.

Booking Deposit: A deposit of 10% of the total cost is required for our events, to secure the booking and cover costs associated with advance purchase of supplies. It is payable within 14 days of the invoice date. The booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

Cancellation fees: Cancellation fees apply as follows: with more than 7 days notice, all monies except an administration charge of £200 will be refunded; with less than 7 days notice, 50% of the total cost will be payable. Cancellation on the day of the event would incur the full cost. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the Art Academy a full refund of all monies would be made.

Participants: Revised prices resulting from a reduction in the number of participants for any scheduled event may be agreed at the Art Academy’s discretion on the condition that more than 7 days notice is given.

Programme Changes: Changes to the programme for any scheduled event may be agreed at the Art Academy’s discretion on the condition that more than 7 days notice is given; additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the changes. The Art Academy will make every reasonable effort to adhere to confirmed arrangements; the Academy reserves the right to alter or change arrangements should it be found necessary to do so and will refund any monies not expended as a result.

Liabilities: Although every reasonable effort is made to ensure clients’ safety at all times, any party booking the Art Academy for events shall use the building entirely at their own risk and persons participating in their events shall for all purposes be guests of that party. The Art Academy, and its partners, are exempt from any claims made against the Art Academy or its partners for (i) damage to property or goods; (ii) for personal injury to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Damage: All damage caused in any manner whatsoever by a booking party or its guests to Art Academy equipment or property shall be the responsibility of that party.
