Andrew Purves

After stints buying furniture for Habitat and Liberty, Andrew, together with his wife Pauline set up Purves & Purves in 1992 in London’s Tottenham Court Road. Selling an eclectic mix of Furniture, Lighting, Rugs and Household Accessories from leading Italian and Scandinavian companies as well as young designers in the UK. The business grew rapidly, and now operates from George Street where the focus is more on the Contract market, while smaller items are sold online.

Andrew has a keen interest in Art and Design, and for the last five years has been a section head for Art in Action the annual Arts and Crafts fair at Waterperry near Oxford.

Daniel Wright, BSc Arch, Dip Arch, ARB

Daniel Wright is an architect. He trained at The Bartlett School of Architecture and the Built Environment, UCL, London between 1993 and 2000.

He is an associate at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners (formerly Richard Rogers Partnership) and has worked there for 10 years and is also involved in recruitment for the practice.

 

Daniel has been involved in a range of projects including airports, residential, offices and public buildings. In the last 10 years he has been involved with the Paddington Waterside project in London and the National Assembly for Wales project in Cardiff as site representative. Since the completion of the NAW project Daniel has been based in the London office and has been involved in a number of London based projects at concept design, planning and detail stages including the Bankside housing project in Southwark, London, which is now on site and the Leadenhall Street tower project.
