This is a comprehensive introduction to painting covering line, tone, shape, composition, measurement in drawing, and colour theory. Using various drawing and painting mediums students will be shown how to create structure, depth and space, as well as how to see colour. As this is an introductory course, students may finish some work, but the emphasis is primarily on exploring technique.
